Content Guidelines

Liberato permits and encourages its users to post a broad range of content without censorship. We believe that there is no hard boundary between the artistic and the erotic, and that performers and creators should not be stifled in what they share by the conservative moral standards of banks, advertisers, or shareholders.

We strive to make our content guidelines the most permissive of any adult content platform, while also upholding the strongest best practice standards against image-based abuse. These guidelines apply to any user of Liberato who uploads content ("you"). These guidelines were last updated on August 16, 2023.

What is permitted

Nudity and sexual content

Content depicting nudity or sexual activity is permitted provided that you and every other real person depicted in content that you upload has provided the following:

  1. Consent to be depicted in the content.
  2. Consent to allow for the public distribution of the content on Liberato.
  3. If the content will be made available for downloading by other users, consent to have the content downloaded.
  4. Verification of their identity and age, showing that they were at least 18 years of age when the content was produced.

You are responsible for keeping records of supporting documents for yourself and every other real person depicted in content that you upload to Liberato. Such documents must be provided to Liberato upon request.

AI-generated content

AI-generated works are permitted, with the following additional conditions:

  1. AI-generated content must be tagged or watermarked to indicate clearly that it is AI-generated.
  2. Works depicting identifiable real people, such as Deepfakes, are not permitted without the consent of the persons depicted. An exception is given for public figures who are adults where the content is tagged as AI-generated.
  3. Works that depict nudity or sexually explicit conduct of characters who appear indistinguishable from an actual minor are not permitted.
  4. Works produced by generative AI systems that have been trained on unlawful images of actual minors are not permitted, even if the resulting works do not depict an identifiable, actual minor.

The following content is also prohibited:

  1. Hate speech and symbols.
  2. Real incest or polygamy.
  3. Solicitations for in person commercial sexual services.
